1- Bob the traveler dog

This story starts back in 1882. Bob was a German Collie and one of the most famous dogs in Southern Australia. It had a strange love towards trains and railways. From its early years, it used to follow the railway workers to their work. This continued until it was captured one day as a stray dog. Fortunately, not long afterwards, a train station guard bought it and Bob was brought back to the railways. His owner even took it with him on board the trains. However, when the station guard got promoted and the train journeys stopped, Bob decided to go on these train journeys by itself. It traveled to almost all Southern Australia till it became well known and welcomed by all. The most famous traveling dog in the Australian history went on his continuous trips until his death in 1895.

2- Bud Nelson the driver dog

This story dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Bud can be considered to most famous Pitbull ever lived. Named after its owner, the famous US physician Horatio Nelson, Bud Nelson was the first dog to cross America by car with its owner Nelson and his driver Crocker. Wearing its googles and taking its place beside the driver, Bud might have looked hilarious but it made an achievement that is still recorded in the history books.

3- Rolf the geek dog

This  Airedale terrier was believed to be the smartest dog that ever existed. It was believed to do arithmetic calculations and to communicate with humans in sophisticated matters. This dog was an attempt from the Nazis in World War II to create an army of super dogs that are intelligent and more developed than any other animal. It even shared the Nazis’ ideas and became biased to Germany against the other nations like France or England. There is a possibility that all this was a big lie from the Germans, but whether Rolf was that intelligent or not, it was an unorthodox dog.

4- Pickles the World Cup finder

This Collie, born in 1963 and leaving our world in 1967, could be the most famous dog in the history of world football. During its short years of life, it helped in uncovering a mystery that whole nations could not solve. In 1966, a couple of months before the football World Cup competition in England, the World Cup trophy got stolen. This caused the whole world in a shock. This continued till Pickles the dog found it. Pickles was walking with its owner in the street when suddenly it sniffed something in the bushes, which was found out to be the lost trophy. This made of Pickles the hero and the guest of honor in England and the star of numerous events and even movies.
